FreeLook camera jittering when following a target with damping

    I want to use Horisontal/Vertical Damping, but I get this




    When I set damping to 0 or select Aim > Hard Look At everything is OK.

    It's a cinemachine bug, or I do something wrong? I move my player in Update method via velocity change (with Time.deltatime).

    Your character is not moving steadily. You can see that in the background in the gif with 0 damping. Unsmooth movement will always create problems with damping. Can you find a way to animate more evenly, perhaps using physics?

    Thanks for your reply. After testing, I discovered that the problem is really in the movement of my character.

    PS: moving movement to FixedUpdate (with Time.deltatime) did not solve the problem, but this is a completely different question.
