    Is there any way to get the documentation? Every time I try to get it from the website http://denebstudio.com I get an error from Norton stating it's an unsafe site. Is there any way to get the documentation in the asset itself? Love this but a tad hard to use without the docs. Thanks

    I do not know what will be in the future but I can assure you that updates in the 2017 and 2018 will be free

    ...if there's no promise I won't have to pay more to keep it functioning down the road or have to purchase a new package after the existing one gets deprecated (which has happened twice recently to me):( I'll have to give it some more thought .

    Thank You for the information about website - I'll fix it
    I know that I should develop the documentation :( and I will do it in August
    In July I have to update wizards and tutorials so that the user can easily create FPP / TPP games without the use of c # code (now it is possible but requires some polish).
    It consumes a lot of time and I have no time to improve the documentation

    @ purchasers,

    I am perhaps interested in this Asset. I also own RPGAIO and ORK and wondered how people compared Alvi to these other Assets.

    In terms of building an RPG, can Alvi directly support Multiple Races, Classes, Abilities and how is it with Inventories and flexibility with items - not just crafting but say socketing and upgrading items and so forth?

    Some pointers would be good.

    Hi - Yes Alvi supports crafting, inventory, etc. I suggest you see a movie on which you can see most of the technology

    You can create classes, race using templates.
    I must create tutorial for it.

    Excellent. Thanks for responding.

    How easily can this system accommodate socketing and suffixes and prefixes with items?

    Also how easily can Alvi be integrated with any of the big Assets like Third Person Controller, Dialogue for Unity, Love Hate, Inventory Pro?

    I do not know how easy it is because these functionalities are built to a greater or lesser extent
    - Third and First Person controller is built-in (except for the components of the climbing that is being created)
    - Dialogs are integrated with quests
    - for the system "Love Hate" corresponds to the parameter "attitude" eg after the shot the character becomes an enemy
    - Inventory is integrated

    Questions :-
    1. does it has 'Pet and Summoning' system ?
    * I've watched your tutorial video (
    ) on the character creation system, it's Great ! (but I see it doesn't have pet creation yet )
    eg :- get/summon a Pet , like those commonly seen in RPG game that follow along the player ( it's master ) .

    2. does it has 'Mounting System' ?
    eg : able to ride on pet .

    3. does it use uGUI for the various menu ( eg, those inventory menu, crafting menu ...etc ), or still using OnGUI ( the old GUI )?

    Keep up the good works. It's a great asset !

    Unfortunately, this system does not exist at present, but it can be done by itself
    Just use the Run To object command and set the "ability" parameter to a friend

    Hi - You can use function ChangeClassValueAsFloat from menu ClassTemplate in AlviEditor

    - Is this asset still being developed?

    - What is integration like with UMA2 and Morph3D models;

    - with RPG, can you do multi-class with also race and sub-race in character selection?

    - with items, can they support affixes, prefixes and suffixes (aka Diablo) and socket items and socketing/different additional elemental damages (aka Path of Exile and Diablo etc?

    - what systems are in place for progression/levelling?

    1) Yes ofcourse - my asset is developed
    2) I must add that systems (UMA2 and Morph3D) to creators but there should be no problem with this
    3) This is possible - you can create any parameters in the rpg classes - so you can create a sub-race parameter
    4) currently not (Although yes but it is not easy :( )
    5) handly - You must use command who check experience and increase level - it is easy but I will create a demo with the sample system or creator for it changelevel.png

    @denebhyde ,

    Many thanks for coming back so comprehensively.

    Being able to select or generate characters with multiple classes, a race AND subrace greatly enhances the depth of an RPG...

    It would be great if you could do the tutorial on levelling.

    Enhancements/Wizards on affixes, prefixes, suffixes and socketing then heavily related to loot tables and rng would be great too.... ;)

    I will create a more advanced demo for rpg in early September because now I'm doing character wizard (with clothes, deform body, hairs etc for DAZ characters first )

    Wow, very promising asset indeed.

    I have 2 questions : saw you have a topdown like camera, can't find any example in your videos. Is it just a camera view or is it supporting a topdown shooter style ? if not how difficult you think it would be to adapt it ?

    Even if new mobile devices are more and more powerful ( thinking all iOS devices supporting Metal) , I'm always a it concerned on what kind of framerate your mobile demo by example can achieve on such device ?

    ad1)Yes Alvi support a topdown shooter style but for the past six months I have focused on other things (FPS/TPS)
    example of my top-down camera


    ad2) I test alvi for mobile device and I noticed that more depends on the number of effects (camera effect, postproduction,ooo many objects with physics) than my asset (although it proposes to limit UI elements to a minimum)

    Excellent! On related topic, my only gripe with Daz3D (not your fantastic asset!) is the $500 game license if you use their models in a game as 3d model assets...

    Have you seen MakeHuman 3d humanoid models which are under an open license, can be imported in to Unity and are moddable in Blender?

    I have not tested it with ICE but if it creates an FBX it should not be that hard.

    woot? I can use DAZ3D characters and clothes with this asset????? HOW? is that possible? Awesome! But is the polycount from daz3d not too high for a game? But impressive

    You can use decimator in Daz3D or other in Unity to reducing the number of polygons :) - Already in 2014 I created game with Daz object for mobile
    ;)

    WorldMap for level in Alvi
