I'd like to make a "diablo style" game using 3Dforge models captured as 2d images. I'm still making tests, but i'm struggling wiht the isometric stuff.

@arkhament ofc you can use your own isometric sprites. The provided prefabs are just a good start to begin with.

What does this tool NOT have that the regular version has?

The link to the pro version in the description is dead.

the lite version contains the core functionality only.

Addiotional content/features in the pro version are:
    • draggable objects for touch/click user inputs
    • hundreds of more sprites for various themes
    • gridMap dratastructures for your tilebased games
    • character controllers for almost any use case
    • additional sample scenes
    • runtime level generation
    • Easing functions to move players around

this is a great tool! super excited you have the Lite version too! Will you have an upgrade option? I'm so sorry if you have that written somewhere and I completely missed it.

Yes, it does have an upgrade option
    Pro version price is 55$
    Lite version 25$
    upgrade price is 30$

So it is always worth giving the lite version a try before upgrading to pro.

    Hi

I got some time so i went to test the toolkit and i've found some problems perhaps because my own ignorance.

    - CTRL-Z doesn't work on ISO Object. This is very frustrating.

    - It's very odd to get the ISO Object size right, i'm spending a lot of time tweaking X, Y and Z values and never getting it 100% right. I expected something more automated or at least based on sprites width and height.

    - I also thought the snapping will work like unity vertex snapping, instead you have to enter X,Y and Z values manually so with my ISO Objects not being 100% properly sized, snapping doesn't work either for me.

I'm testing with this free tiles.

    Hi,
    thanks for your extensive testing.

Known Issue. To be fixed with the next update 2.0, coming around mid/end oct 2015.

I can't relate to that. In most cases I just put the Pixels per Unit value of my spritesheets so that the main tiles occupy (1,1,1) units of space. But I will try to figure something out to get automated sizing into it. Probably not in the next update.

Please specify on this one. Once you have put in the size of one slot in your grid (snapping value) and autosnap is toggled on all sprites will stick to that specified grid. Where do you get stuck with it?

Again, thanks for your testing it helps a lot to improve the asset!
