FREE RACEKTRACK

Hey guys, I wanted to post this racetrack for free on the asset store but apparently it's to simple to be featured there. Even though I have seen some waaay more simpler assets. But since 2 people messaged me about it, I'm gonna post it here. Hope someone gets good use out of it

Looks pretty nice in my opinion. Don't get the two simple part as you have mentioned seen way more "simple" assets than this.

 

Unity has been raising the standards for what they accept on the asset store, but they haven't applied them retroactively so you'll often see assets that wouldn't have qualified if they were submitted now.

 

There should be a share your work for free section that includes all of the not up to standard stuff for free. Call it Free For All or something catchy.

 

Well my "problem" with unity is mostly that they're inconsistent. Like one of my most sold assets was first rejected for being "to simple" and without making any modification to it, got accepted the second time. I had this happen with 3 assets until now.
I know about unity tightening their leash lately but I saw assets released in 2017 that where literally 3d objects without textures selling at 5 $.
Seeing how being accepted takes around 2 weeks it's kinda annoying. I imagine they get hundreds of submissions everyday tough
