    Hello Unity forum!
Over the last few weeks when optimizing my current project I've encountered a problem using the frame debugger, namely that it simply bricks the entire Unity editor when I try to use it (video from the link below). Whenever I activate it while my game view is active and click on one of the objects in the list the entire editor goes on some sort of acid trip, flickering, some of the UI panels being split diagonally across the middle, I've seen some parts get scaled up massively.
TLDR; turning on the frame debugger makes the entire editor useless.

Does anyone have any experience with this or does anyone have any tips for solving this one?

    I am on Unity 2018.3.7f1.
    In case it is relevant I am using a: i7 4930k, GTX 1070, 54GB DDR3 RAM, 256GB SSD.
