Wondering if anyone can help me out, I'm far from a shader expert. Currently I'm stashing self-illumination data in one of the channels of a texture. In all of my opaque shaders I also use this to control camera image effects such as glow by setting this texture as the alpha. Everything works great in these cases. I can't seem to figure out if it is possible to do the same sort of thing with cutout shaders. I'd like to be able to set the image buffer alpha using this self-illumination texture but then also have the alpha of the diffuse map affecting the cutout of the object. Does anyone know if this is possible in a surface shader? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
