I present to you these fountain particle effects I made.
You can see each with and without the base splash here! :

They all use the same texture too! It's 256x256 pixels!
The motion blur is in the texture!
    I love exclaiming things!

Would you buy this pack for $1?
It stinks you say? Well then good sir, how about free?

INPUT my fellow game developers! INPUT I say!

To be brutally honest, I wouldn't even download it. It's extremely streched, and the texture is pretty simple.

You would have much better luck making a fountain model, fixing the particle stretching and getting an actual sort of fountain flow going. I would take a good look at reference material as well.

Best of luck to you! =)

Agree with Thinksquirrel. Texture are overly stretched, and lacking definition and realism.
With that being said, I actually like your avatar. Did you drew that?

The alpha you used isn't helping much either.
If you are going to mix several Particle Systems together also try to vary the alphas. Make them look more "splashy".

The way it's now those look extremely artificial.

Have a look at watersplashes in photos. Try to mimic individual parts from there as alphas in your texture map.

Also don't just adjust the color of your particle systems to create different "types". Different fluids react different. Water is pretty thin and splashy while oil and blood are more thick (depending on the force applied at the burst of your particles).

    Keep on improving :)

Its cute, I like your style a lot. I think it has the potential for a great game. Like Doodle Jump.
