I can safely say I'm not gifted when it comes down to art, I've searched the internet high and low for tutorials that could help me improve on my art.

I did not create this, I'm just sharing it to show my gratitude towards the person who did, and to help those who need a little guidance:

That's pretty cool. I'll have to give Inkscape a try one of these days.

 

If you're interested in art tutorials also applied to realistic shadings etc, this is one of the best imho.

 

That's a great tutorial, unfortunately, I'm artistically inept, so a tutorial of that caliber is a bit over the top for me. I'm more of a show me how to make a shape and mold into something by adding layers and ect.

 

Inkscape is a very useful tool, I've decided to drop Photoshop for Inkscape, wish I would have known before paying that monthly fees for PS.

 

I'm still holding onto an old copy of CS2 I've had forever. I've tried moving to both the Gimp and Paint.Net to get rid of this dependance on commercial legacy software, but just couldn't do it. Haven't worked with vector graphics much either, but I'm always down for something new. Might give it a go after I finish my current project.
