Hello, and thanks for reading this already!

I will be developing games with Unity (obviously).
Will I notice any improvement during development if I go with a 6 core i7 processor, instead of 4 (AKA, the X99 chipset/2011-3)?

    Thanks in advance!

Wow, there are a lot of these type of threads popping up lately...

Would you notice the difference between a 6-core or 4-core processor using any application? Unity itself isn't too demanding of a product to run. I dunno, maybe your build times will be faster by a minuscule amount.

Best thing you can do cost-wise is to boost memory as much as possible and upgrade to a solid-state drive. But any computer that meets the system specs will run Unity just fine.
