Font text outside of Text object.

    Something has gone awry with fonts. I'm using 5.3.1p2. I have an OTF font that I have set to OS Default Rendering with Unicode characters at size 100. This gives me excellent crisp looking text. The problem however is that the text is floating above the Text bounds rectangle, and nothing I've changed on the font or on the Text component settings seem to change it.

    If I set the character to Dynamic it does move back to within the bounds of the rectangle, but it looks blurred and horrible at any size and at any rendering mode.

    Could this be a bug ? I've read a lot of posts about text being some sort of imperfect science which I find hard to accept.

    Ok, I more or less got it. I changed the Font to dynamic then set the Text scale to 0.4 then upped the text size. This works.. but its far from an elegant solution. Unity, you really gotta fix this.
