I have been struggling with making a custom font despite all of the topics on the subject that are on the forum already. I have made a font and can display the font in a GUI text but the font is not being displayed right. "GUI Text" has become "g1%t!40" with odd spacing between letters. Messing with "Ascii Start Offset" and "Kerning" do not fix the problem and the Font Count is set at 10 (the font map was made with Unity Font Mapper). The font Texture is set at a 512 by 512 RGBA DXT3. One thing that seems odd is that with the pre-made fonts that I import the font Texture and font material are grouped under the fonts like a folder, but I was not able to do that with my custom font... don't know if that's relevant. Any ideas?
