Resolved font asset creator - generate fonts greyed out

    Hello, I am trying to generate a font to use with TMP, but everything seems to be greyed out (generate and save) I have tried Arial text and also a text I have downloaded. Is there some other setting I need to change to get it to work? Or should adding the font file be enough?

    EDIT : i have found a post saying you can also use cntl + shift+ f12 to generate a font, so i tried that, and ended up with errors, so could this be an issue with the fonts i am trying use. I have tried many different ones now. Errors below

    Solved : for anyone else having the issue, I had to download tmp essential resource, and update the editor to the lastest.

    The TMP Essential Resources are essential to use TMP. Unless you were using an older version of the TMP package, a window should have shown up to ask you to import the TMP Essential Resources.

    The Grey out part could also be due to using the internal Arial.ttf font file which is not a valid font file. I believe a warning about this should have been displayed in the console.

    This is still an issue. No window displayed to import the tmp essential resources.

    I have the same problem.
    I dragged the font file from finder (font book takes me to that file) to unity

    then select it

    but button is greyed out

    when I use cmd F12 I get this error:
    ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
    Parameter name: shader


    I did it in the past. Now it is not working in a new project.

    I found out that the Textmesh Pro Folder is missing (empty). I copied it from my other project and it is working now.
    BUT WHY IS IT MISSING!?
