Top down 2D follow camera on the player is stuttering when using the default Cinemachine setup with the default New Input System. The Player movement is handled in FixedUpdate. I cannot find any fixes or even mentions of this online. Any help would be appreciated!

If your player movement is handled in FixedUpdate, you may encounter interpolation issues when the camera updates in FixedUpdate but the player moves in discrete steps. Consider switching the player movement to Update and see if this resolves the stuttering issue.

Sadly that didn't work, the camera still has the same jittery effect as it settles into place. Thank you for trying :D

If anyone else comes across this, I found the issue.

I had the pixel perfect camera Component for both the main camera (the innate Unity one) and the virtual camera (the cinemachine one). After I removed the main camera pixel perfect component (but kept the cinemachine virtual camera one), everything worked fine.
