Fnaf style camera Movement HELP!!!

Hey guys im new to unity and im trying to make a fanf fan game but i have one problem I can't make the scrolling camera i looked all over youtube but still nothing I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction or tell me how to do it

 

If using the default character controller take away the movement script and in the mouselook script limit the x value to what you want and limit the y to 0 if you dont want to look up and down like fnaf.

If you want to do the camera movement simply use an animation thats pans left to right.

 

thanks for replying means alot to me when i used your idea for default character controller it moves but the camera is REALLY jerky and moves incredibly sporadic any way i can fix this also it wont clamp on x tryed y same problem?
