Flowchart tool?

    Hi!

    Any tips for a good flow chart tool? What do you guys use?

    I own omnigraffle too.

    But actually I would go with LucidCharts nowadays (google chrome store or just webapp). Omnigraffle is nice but they don't get anywhere, it moved barely the past 18 months and it wasn't ahead even back then.

    for UML and general software modelling etc I use Visual Paradigms UML Editor, extremely powerfull

    yEd editor.
    I use it quite a lot to design ideas before translating them into code.

    DRAKON Editor is good for visualizing complex algorithms and processes.
    It can also generate source code in several languages including C#, C++, Lua, etc.

    A Zebra Ball-point pen and and an engineering pad. White board for early stages.

    I remember when I used graph paper, and ended up with it scattered all over the place. That and eraser dribble...meh.

    I use Visio, but I've even used Draw (OO/LO) when away from a machine I've got Visio on...
