Floating licenses?

We heard a rumor that floating licenses are on the roadmap for the Linux version of Unity. That would be incredibly helpful in the context of a large Linux studio. Is this true, and do you know when it is planned?

I assert that it is perfectly reasonable for one user to run Unity Plus or Unity Pro on all three editor platforms, particularly due to the fact that the Linux editor is still experimental and it is in Unity's own best interest for licensees to be able to help test it with the third-party tools we have purchased from the Asset Store and with Unity Services such as Collaborate, Analytics, and Cloud Build.
