Hes right, I'm afraid people have more important things to be doing rather then taking photos of there gear :) Give it time and anyone feeling 'social' will eventually come along and share there parts :)

    I'm using:

    CPU: Intel Core i7 920@3.8ghz
    GPU: Nvidia GTX 460
    Memory: 6GB
    Monitor: 25.5" 1920x1200 LCD and a 23.6" 1920x1080 LCD.

Also have a 17" Intel Core Duo 1.86ghz iMac for iOS stuff, it's old and the LCD has defects on it, but it's all I need :p

My real/current job is as a Mechanical Engineer and I do a lot of CAD/CAM work, hence the setup. I have a spaceball too, but it doesn't work in Unity.

Picture is very overxposed, and I need a new desk, but this is it:

Here's a picture of my gear:

It may not run at 2.9 GHz, but it's so massively parallel that it will win every time.

    Your telling me?

    Pro:
    • I've spent less on monitors in the last decade than a single LCD.
    Bad:
    • I'm slowly going blind, and will mutate into a green goblin soon.

Don't worry, there will be zoo's and museums to showcase the 'meat'.

Nothing wrong with CRT's. Took me many years after LCDs were mainstream before I was willing to switch from my dual Viewsonic 21" Pro CRT monitors to dual 21" Viewsonic Pro LCDs. Now I work on Dell LCDs but the images they produce are not as crisp and the colour reproduction is not as good as my 13 year old Viewsonic Pro LCDs. I am finally at the point where I am contemplating getting rid of the majority of the CRTs and just keeping one 21" Viewsonic CRT for colour checking and colour reproduction work.

That said, there is no way I could manage to get a half-dozen 30" CRTs on a glass desk without some serious reinforcement, so yeah, LCDs, even if they make my eyes more tired at the end of the day than a good CRT ever did.

    Here's my battlestation:

    Intel Core i7 920
    6GB DDR3 RAM
    Geforce GTX460
    3x LG 1952h LCDs (using Matrox's TripleHead2Go)

In this picture it is in gaming-mode. When working, the Saitek stick goes to the side, and the tablet comes forward ;)

    Cheers
