Another thing that happens a lot but I can't reproduce it reliably:
When moving files around inside a package, rarely all the filenames become lowercase. This of course prevents scripts from running etc., and is super annoying (if you move a folder with subfolders and 100s of scripts in them and suddenly all are lowercase).

@LeonhardP is this one known? Or maybe @okcompute_unity as I've only seen this inside Packages, never in Assets.

Also, not sure if this is related, but sometimes I get this error message when moving scripts around in Packages:

I actually managed to record a video of it just now, note in this case the folder names are lowercased:

@LeonhardP would be great to get an official response here, this is an absolute workflow nightmare.

Great! However, I have to say that I have definitely seen the issue with AssetPipeline V2 as well...

If you know a way to reproduce it, please share it with us. QA will have another look but so far they weren't able to reproduce the behaviour for v2.

Will try to reproduce in case I encounter it again, hopefully that doesn't happen :)

This happened to me in Unity 2019.2.16 a few times this week, but I also can't pinpoint the cause. But will try to!

It's still happening, almost every day, but not 100% of the time. That you could not reproduce it does not mean that it doesn't happen, you just need to look harder.
