    Hello,
I was wondering if it would be a great idea for developers to be able to create 'file variables' in their scripts so that they can directly attach .txt or .bin files to objects in the inspector that uses the file variable types. That way, they can write their own programming language in these .txt files, attach the text files to the scripts, and write the scripts to put to use the .txt files accordingly. What do you think of this idea? What about even the idea of attaching scripts to scripts with the choice of either custom programmed code on HOW the scripts should operate, or an already programmed default way based on the file extension of the attached script?

If I'm understanding you, I think the Text Asset already does this.
