Official Feedback Wanted: Streaming Virtual Texturing

    Looking at U6 priorities - I guess they are not prioritizing AAA games.

    Majority of the Unity games, the successful ones, are either built-in, or URP: mobile / gachas.

    These titles don't need neither VT nor nanite-like technology.

    So, looks like we're not going to see this tech coming into Unity, production ready state, anytime soon.

    It's a shame of course, because clearly Unity fails to understand that regardless if it's a casual or hardcore genre, unlimited detail tech like VT or nanites, coupled with realtime GL, is the future of the gaming - anyone who's looking for this, who would made a decision to switch to Unreal, is a forever lost customer - there's no way you switch back from Unreal to Unity.
