I get itchy rashes every time I see this alignment error, please fix
it's hard to be a perfectionist in this world of deadline-driven development
Sir, is that your only complaint about it? I just don't look at that section of the hub xD
The hub feels a bit redundant if you do not use that part of it
I would use more version of Unity if my laptop won't be such a potato xD
I only have two, latest LTS and latest 2018
Go to the doctor.
Mecanim is another offender. It drives me crazy that I can't align everything perfectly.
Lined up perfect to the Unity Icon though.
You know how it works:
If getting a fix for this issue is important to you, submit a bug-report as described in this document:
I can only assume @AndersMalmgren has never endured the dark times of animator/mecanim.
It's fixed now... I think... maybe.... if I peek it will get me though
Maybe he did. That's where the rashes started.
Have only written my own animator controllers on top of ready animation assets. I have noticed some UX problems with it. Like there was no obvious way of deleting a starting node that's started with a variable that you deleted, I even have a thread about it here somewhere
Just leave Unity open. You won't see the launcher if you never launch Unity. Modern problems require modern solutions.
Yeah... what alignment error?
If anything, it's the one line of text that's in the wrong place.
The design could definitely be improved, though. There's nothing to visually associate the download buttons with the icon/text pairs, and the download buttons are miles from the text and icon they're associated with. I'd consider adding some unifying element (could be as simple as a box around them) to tie those things together.
I like the box idea. But I'm evil. The box would make the misalignment even more noticeable, and probably make the OP's rash worse...
Align all 3 elements (logo, text, button) (the logo fills no function so remove it) and possible alternate background colour between white and gray each row
Yeah, that stuck out to me, too.
@AndersMalmgren v2 of the Hub is on the way with a new design. Hopefully, your itchiness will end then =P
Glad to hear it!
I hope it has more features for actually managing stuff... any screenshots?
Edited title to include [Feedback] - not sure if I should but giving it a go for visibility... and reworded it.
In future as feedback site is being killed off and reborn, try to use my rough guidelines in this post when giving feedback:
I tried to use same style as the moderators does on their posts
All that I want from the hub is that it won't close after opening or creating a project.
