Since the package manager now handles the installation of assets from the asset store, it would make sense that it should also be able to keep track of the version and time that package was last installed/updated on a per project basis.

    For example,
    I have 2 Projects
    - Project A
    - Project Z

On both I install version 1.0.1 of the "Awesome Asset"

There is an update v1.0.3 for "Awesome Asset" and download it an install it on Project A.

A few days later, I open Project Z but there is no indication if "Awesome Asset" update has been applied to it or not.

So if I want to keep the same assets up-to-date on all my projects, I would need keep track manually.

I what I would like to suggest is to add to the package manager to allow me to track when was the last time I updated an asset from the store on a project and also know what version was it that was installed vs what's currently available on the store.

See this Mock up for inspiration
