Feedback Feature request: Please add support for embedded mp4 files

    You can already upload and embed animated gifs up to 4 mb, which is nice. However, those are loaded, played instantly and repeatedly which is not always requested by everyone. Hiding those in spoiler tags is annoying for readability.

    Youtube videos have a better approach, especially with the preview pictures and on demand playback of the videos when you click on them. But uploading a few seconds long videos only to be able to embed them here on the forum is also annoying.

    So in order to embed small animations it would be nice to be able to embed small mp4 files directly without having to upload them e. g. to youtube first.
