Feature Request: Option to show Heat Map for Terrain Layers

    With lots of terrain layers it would be really convenient if it were possible to show a heat map about where a layer is applied on the terrain. Especially if you have e. g. multiple variations of the same texture in the scene.

    Just put a colorful texture into its albedo slot.

    Thanks, but that's neither a workaround nor a solution: You'd have to modify your actual data for showing analytic data. Besides once you temporarily switch the albedo against a colorful texture, you'll have to switch it back. And for that you'd have to find the original first in a huge project folder structure of ground textures from eg different publishers. Do that for 5 grass textures and it'll become tedious.

    Besides every professional tool has an option to show a height map for their data. I didn't see it before, but the Terrain Tools are about to become something professional. I really enjoy sculpting with them. Anything that helps is a positive enhancement :)
