Feature Request: If a new version of Unity is available for a version that is installed, notify user

I think that if a version of Unity that is installed has an update available, there should be some sort of notification which alerts the user. Maybe also there is an auto-install update setting too? I just think a little more automation would make hub even better Loving it since it released and keep up the good work.

 

Having an icon on the tile of an installed version would be useful to indicate if there is an update available.

The "..." context menu should then also provide an "Update" button to update an existing installed version. Because I'm lost how to update an existing version through hub (link).
