Is there an update to this plugin that doesn't use obsolete API calls? (Unity 2017)
Also, is there any way to use the tools in-scene? I want to use the waveform editor in an application I'm creating with Unity. Is it a Unity-editor extension only?

    Hi everyone,

FCAudioTools on Unity 2018.3 causes a delay in playback.
You can listen to a delay of about 1 second after pressing the play button.
Now I am focusing on removing this problem of FCAT.

This problem is not seen on Unity 2018.2.
You can choose to work around this problem by staying above Unity 2018.2.

    Best Regards,

Hi just bought the full version!
    Very excited about it.

I have a feature request that would change my life.
Could you add a button to use markers to split a wav file up?

My use case is taking a recording, of say impacts, and then being able to cut it up so there is a file for each impact sound.

    Hi, fasfasdfff!
Your purchase made me happy. Thank you very much.

The function of the automatic division will exist in plans.
But I am not ready to deliver it to you soon.

If you allow manual operation, the relatively few steps are:

    1. You right-click on Project and create a new waveform (eg Create> AudioClip> Wav> 44.1Khz 2ch)
    2. You created a silent wav file. Cut all of these waveforms using the Wave Editor.
    3. Open your source wav file in WaveEditor.
    4. You can select between markers by double-clicking on the waveform channel center.
    5. Select Copy (Ctrl + C)
    6. Move to the first Wave Editor and select Paste. (Ctrl + V)
    7. Click Save (Left Top icon in Wave Editor).

Close the saved Wave Editor and repeat these.

    Thank you.

    Hi, kilik!

    FCAT supports 8ch files.
    You can edit each channel.
However, you can not record on the tool.

    Thank you.

Do you plan on supporting mp3s? It would be really helpful for those quick edits.

Yes, Indeed I have spent a long time in its development.
Add mp3 and ogg. However, it can not be seen in the Free edition.
I will release (ver2.5) it within a few months.

    Announcement about FCAudioTools.

I apologize for the long wait from the previous version.

Version 2.5 is planning Ogg / Mp3 file support and formatting UI and resampling.
These features are planned to work on Windows / OSX / Linux editors.
These use Lame, OggVorbis, and SOX Resampler native plugins in the lower layers.
However, these libraries had problems with float signal input/output and multi-thread operation and needed to be corrected.
The source code of the modified native library is released under the original license (LGPL).

The new FCAT version requires Unity 2018.4 or later.
Purchased users will be able to download new versions on the AssetStore. Updates are free.

    Best Regards,
    Future Cartographer

@Masashi-Wada Congratulations! I just started using FC audio tools. This is a very useful asset. I notice a little bug in v 2.3.1. I am using unity 2021.2.10f1 and saving a volume change for only one file does not seem to work. It works well saving all files but not a single file only.

    Thank you for your help!

Hello, I purchased FCAudioTools recently, but i see no support for .OGG format files? Why? It was my understanding that it was supported!

    Thank you for your support.
We've been developing support for Ogg/mp3, but we're sorry we haven't released it yet.

Any date you can give me? I am tempted to refund, I am sure the program is great but all my files (thousands) on the project are .ogg format
