FBX to mecanim setup

    Trying to understand how the FBXs that inform a Mecanim rig are set up. Is Mecanim just looking for a rig with the same hierarchy structure as listed below (credit: a Will Goldstone tutorial)?

    Hope this question makes sense.

    I do believe you are correct in assuming that.

    If you have any doubts you can look at the provided Mecanim examples.

    Thanks T - but I have no idea of how to check how the FBX files in the example were set up. That would tell me definitively tho.
