Question FBX Import so slow

    Hello, i was using a .fbx file for my city and it wasnt create any problem for a long time but after once a time - i dont know actually what happend- when i tried to open my project it started to loading about in 5 mins. How can i check if there any problem or what's the problem?

    How big is that .fbx file?

    Well under 100 mb is okay I guess. Try creating a new empty project and drop it in there to see if the fbx imports faster. If it does, it has to be something within the project like assets, editor scripts or packages that perform asset import postprocessing steps. You could open the profiler, put it in "Editor" mode and then import the fbx and let it sit until it's finished, then check the profiler to see if the callstack helps to narrow it down.

    Looking at the Editor.log may give an indication as to what Unity is trying to do.

    Also, if it worked just fine for a long time and now Unity is stuck, nuking Library and reimporting is likely a simple, brute-force quickfix.

    Just added "1" to end of the name to make re import and even editor freezes. So can't see what's happening. I will try deleting library folder.

    As you said re importing to fresh project totally worked fine. It's all about to my project. I will try to find a solution for this thanks.
