FBX import and standard shader texture channels

    Hi,

    I just starded to dive in to the new PBR features in U5.

    Is it true that only the Albedo texture is assigned in the material also if other texture are originally in the modeling software material?

    To be more precise: I'm working with 3DS Max. What I'm looking for is to assign not only Albedo (diffuse in 3dsmax), but also Metallic, Bump, Emission, Opacity and so on.

    With U4 it where be possible to import not only Diffuse maps.

    Is this a missing feature and, if missed, is planned for the (near) future?

    Apologies. afaik I'm unsure if this is doable "automate" simply because there is no direct link from Max to Unity.
    There may be a code-erific way to accomplish it.
    I'd be interested in that process as well. If you find one please update this post.

    Actually - importing via .max file may do a little more in the automation process. May want to check into that.
