I downloaded an FBX file from cgtrader.com and tried to import it in Unity.

First I did not have any textures or materials at all, but after some research, I found out how to import it.
However, the quality of the element in Unity is pretty bad.

The materials appear to be in a Materials folder in my project, and the program must be taking something, since I see some colours. However, it is definitely not the expected result.

How can I import it with better quality?

I found some light in this related question:
    https://forum.unity.com/threads/missing-polygons-on-fbx-import.41634/

    2. Is the face missing on both sides? If you look at the face from the other side, does it appear?
This was actually the problem I had.

A solution can be found in the same thread:

well it was just that maya supports 2 sided meshes(for planes) whereas unity didnt and i just made normals going the direction from which i want to be seen for sure.. thanks i fixed my problem
