.fbx file and .anim file

    I export the .anim file from the .fbx file in use ctrl + d.
    I want to know what is the difference with animation using .fbx file and using .anim file?

    It's so you can allocate animations to an FBX object. Let's say you have a character and you want him to have a bunch of animations you can name the imported fbx Character@roll.fbx and ctrl + D the animation file so it will now work on the object named Character.fbx. You will then have a list of animations with only one FBX object(Character).

    I am now have a list of animations with only one FBX object.
    Do you mean to use fbx with animations and use .anmi is same?
