We started seeing these errors today:
Not sure what's the reason as we did not change anything.

That Git checkout happens before anything involving the particular Unity version. It's worth double-checking if there were any authentication issues on the Git host in question (including the hosts for any submodules, if there is a different host involved) - and if it keeps happening please send me a direct message with the project in question.

Our repositories (both for the main project and the submodule) are hosted on github. Cloud build accesses these using an SSH key.

As far as i know, nothing was changed from our end. It just started failing yesterday. I will send u the project details in a private message, thanks!

Some more info about our issue:

Cloud build is accessing our repo via SSH (we have supplied an SSH key) and the URL that is defined is similar to this one:

    git@github.com:Name/Proj.git

The submodule's repo is defined via the 'https' protocol. Perhaps this mixture (ssh / https) stopped working all of a sudden ?

Also, the failed configuration seems to perform a "clean checkout" since we changed the branch that we are building against. The other builds seemed to only fetch and update to the latest revision and they worked.

In any case - this is a major issue for us that we need to get resolved so we can restore creating builds with the cloud build service.

I've sent you a direct message, hopefully that makes it through. I'm not currently aware of any changes with that URL format for submodules but we'll see what we find.
