Failure in transferring animation form Maya to Unity

    Hey,
    I'm trying to import a simple ball animation from Maya to Unity. How i made the setup in Maya is: I created a sphere. Then created a joint inside the sphere, and skinned the sphere to the joint. Then I created a controller and Parent Constrained the joint with the controller. Finally I animated the controller in the X-Axis from -12 units to +12 units, for a duration of 48 frames.

    Now, I baked the animation of the sphere and exported the animation in FBX format. Finally when I'm imorting the FBX file in Unity, there's no Animation whatsoever. Everything is static.

    Please Help!!!
