Fail to launch with new project.

I create a new project and it loads some things but then it simply stops. Nothing pops up beyond that. The editor window and all simply don't appear but if I go to try and run the project I just created it tells me an instance of that project is currently open. I have alt tabbed to see if somehow it was hiding in there.

When I had unity downloaded on my laptop previous to me wiping and redownloading everything it worked perfectly fine with my rig. So I am rather confused on what to do.

If anyone could give me some ideas that would be great because I need this to work for my college assignments.

I had to copy pasta it into a new file since it wouldn't let me access the file from its current location. I hope this helps.
