    Hi, in the asset store still v1, but you mention v2?
    Is it a lot of work to change your code to other networking service?
    i am interested in your asset.

    Hello, awesome asset but would be much better if you could change to new unity ui and allow other animation than legacy since most assets are non-legacy. Do you have a roadmap for the next update?

    That is v1 of EZFPS 2. Sorry that's kind of confusing haha. The kit includes full documentation, which you can view before purchasing in the link in the Asset Store description. Converting to another Networking system probably is not extremely challenging with some code knowledge. The networking portion is all just Network Views, RPC's, and simple methods like OnJoinedRoom() or PhotonNetwork.CreateRoom(......). I haven't looked into UNet very extensively, but I believe they are fairly similar. Thanks :)

    Converting to UGUI and allowing use of the Animator Component is planned, but that will take a lot of work, so it's prolonged, as of now, so I can get school work done. Since the initial Asset Store release, I've added Weapon Skins, Player Cosmetic Items, In-Game Currency, and other slight tweaks. An official Road Map isn't directly planned out, but after this, I do want to at least convert the GUI. Switching to the Animator Component should be easy, but for some reason Unity removed IsPlaying() from the Animator, which is used a lot throughout the kit. I'll find a work around, though. Thanks :)

    Great stuff! i noticed that the laser sight is not centered on the cross hairs though, not sure if it was intentional.

    Love the asset. I own UFPS too but it's too complex for what I am doing, EZFPS is perfect. I asked myself if I should but Proton for UFPS for $20 or give you $15... take my money. What sold me on your asset was your extensive written tutorials and videos. Many kit authors neglect that part and I don't usually give them the time of day.

    Ok now for my question; In your import pdf you say change layers to weapon(s) and player(s), however they were setup by default on ezfps import to player and weapon (no (s))... which should it be?

    Second: If I don't want ragdoll death, is there a way to easily play my death animation instead?

    I found a cosmetics array in the room manager but i'm guessing it's not used?
    Is it supposed to change the player model texture?

    Hey might sound like a nooby question, but how does the kit handle the players data? You said yourself there are no plans for some sort of login/account system (though itd be awesome if that had changed) I am just wondering how it does handle the players preferences and progress.

    On top of that any plans for a "one life mode" I think it'd be a neat addition, players get one life per round, top kills wins

    Additionally when creating a new gun I am following the document exactly but the gun comes out looking like the normal gun even though I have set up the player to have the new M16 he still spawns the the gun that is selected is the Aks and my new gun can't be used at all: https://i.gyazo.com/8e954530ce53f32043b45e00742d64ee.png

    I am interested in this. Looks good
    But its using legacy animation and gui.
    Any plans to replace legacy with mecanim since i wont be able to retarget animation with legacy system

    So back in 2013 you mentioned you'll look into mobile controls, so this game can be played on phones.. do you have mobile controls now ? :)

    I have never used Unity 3D before. I had been hoovering around Unity 3D for years, since way back, like 2006 and never really got into it. Recently, I was browsing the asset store, and I saw your EZFPS kit, and immediately I knew that I wanted to use Unity as my main game-development tool. EZFPS Kit looks fantastic! I think you have a very promising career ahead of you,sir.
    I have experience modding countless games. Quake,Quake III,UT,UT2003,UT2004(WotGreal and UDK), Infinity Engine Games, Neverwinter Nights, and just about any other game I have ever played. I have some scripting experience in Visual C++. I'm pretty clever, I know how to follow directions and set up environments for coding and what not, but I just can't seem get your asset to build and run without 89 warnings in Unity 5.4.2f2 (64-bit). I have NO idea how to get your asset to get past the gray loading screen. It has become a sort of "Gray loading screen of Death". "GLSOD" hehe. I read through some of your excellent tutorials, but to no avail. I am uncertain as what to do with the Photon Asset. I imported it to my Unity, but I don't see any thing about server settings in your asset. I realize I am essentially asking for my hand to be held through the process but I would be truly thankful for your assistance, sir. Your asset is incredibly inviting to not only game modders but also to complete beginners, and it would be awesome of you to make a tutorial of how to get from a freshly installed Unity to "Aiden Mode"(i.e. your EZFPS kit).

    @TwinB Did you sign up to photon and register your application ? When setting up the EZFPS you should have been asked for your photon account or application number. Once entered you should be good to go past the grey screen. Also make sure that you have full internet connection (no guest account), as this can block the connection to the photon cloud. Please note that I am new to Unity myself and this information is not validated, but I had the same issues and finally switching from Guest account did the trick .

    Well, I kind of got ahead of myself with asking for help, I tried the proper way again like in the getting started tutorial, I know I know, I'm smacking my forehead, I didn't look around enough at first (my excitement over the asset) and then I found a pretty good guide by Aiden about building the project, but now I also have a problem of the console screaming endlessly about quote:
    Failed executing external process for 'Bake Runtime' job.
    yikes and it's still printing at me as I type this...
    other than that it looked legit until it seemed to freeze while building Arena on "baking"... I know it works, and the asset is good, I'm just doing something wrong here.

    @TwinB Indeed I am still working on a Win 7 x 64 *lulz. As far as I can recall from the top of my head entering your email is enough , as long as you have only one Application registered to your Photon account. If you gone through the registration process more than once and have more than one Application registered on your Photon you will need to put the explicit application number (a long hash number) into EZFPS to let it know where to connect.

    Im afraid I cant help with the "Bake Runtime" Issue, but if it is a lighting thing it is trying to bake then you might try turn off the "Auto - Build" function in your lighting tab (Window - > Lighting).

    This topic suggests that bake runtime error has a relation with "Precomputed Realtime GI" script attach to Lightning tab.

    Hey,

    I'm changing weapons models and things like that to bows (archery) and swords, etc. I'm using legacy animations. My problem is, when I "shoot" the new weapons models only a tiny piece of the animation shows, as if its cut off before it finishes. The same things happens when I change the models for the bots and zombies. I changed the zombie to a goblin model, and when the goblin goes to play its attack animation during an attack, only a fraction of the animation shows (the first part). Is there a setting to allow the whole animation to play?

    Hello everyone!

    I have some difficulty with the package, i don't know how i can enable/disable the collider of an object,
    I want to create traps in which if you put button E in the trigger, the collider of another object get enabled, but when the game is online nothing happens but when i close the game, the collider became enabled in hierachy... It's like the action is not synchonized with my local game..

    sadly the developer of this game not respond here, this forum of game is for nothing :(, also on mobile will work this game ? because on mobile need UI menu with resolution minimum 800x480, i try to reduce resolution on actual menu but not work , still is big and not work on mobile with low resolution, i hope very soon developer of this game respond and add this stuff in next update.

    after much test the game needs to be optimized for webgl and android, it have much lag on this platform, also have one mod like FReE FOR ALL , i will wait for next update to work on this nice game, thanks

    @aidengaming123 good cheap asset, was just wondering if some of the problems i noticed toying with the asset were took into fixing consideration like if the host is in spectator mode (did not spawn in the game yet or is dead) and other players kill bots or zombies it keeps adding them to the game until it becomes infested and unplayable or crashes.

    Also when a player reaches score limit and if a player other then the host clicks on continue first that player respawns/resets on the same map and the host crashes !?

    Other than that i'm trying to pinpoint why most of the time i can't join a game that is already started, i see it connect i see the map a brief moment but then disconnects and brings me back to main screen and is impossible to join...

    Overall good work, nice little asset to dissect and learn stuff TY!

    the game looks ok bro but working very bat and it has much bugs , all your problem is on mine unity editor also ihave more problem like - if i play with a friend and add zombie if my friend kills zombie it continue to respawn more zombie and from 4 zombie it go to more and more ......, it needs to optimize this game, for thats why is cheap , best options is to pay someone to fix this game and add cool stuff like you say above

    Hi, i just bought this and i made a new class and modify some things but when i die with my new classe, i can't respawn i continue to be " alive " with a negative number of HP.

    Can u help me please ?

    hey there, great pack. i'm having an issue with mouse sensitivity while aiming down sights, it appears to double the sensitivity instead of halving it. would love some help here

    Bro the kit is nice at first look but it needs to fix it much bugs for webgl and mobile, i wait another update becouse last update not fix my bugs i write when i buy the game

    Hey, was trying out this package and was nicely priced but have kinda a big problem with it. That when I spawn in a second client the positioning of the client is floating in the air and not positioned properly. Though movements are as if the character works fine the x,y,z postioning in the level of the character is way off from one client to another. Any idea why this might be?

    on mine working good second player but i have problem when kill zombie with second player will grow number and if i killing more will be much zombie respawned

    Just bought this package and downloaded v1.80 of Photon. v1.8 removes the PhotonView.observed variable which EZFPS uses. Will EZFPS be updated to support the latest Photon release?

    developer of this kit not respond here, i leave much message to fix bug from game and not respond also i give this kit to an programmer to fix bugs and add cool stuff and he want to work from scratch not on this kit because is not write good, the kit ezfps look nice at surface but inside is worst for the moment , maybe with time developer of this kit will fix this kit for webgl and add button for android. Good look !

    Any support planned for Game Pads, eg. Xbox Controller ?
    (eg. left trigger - aim, and right trigger - shoot,,
    than gamepad button 2 (X) for pickup, etc ?

    where do i get support for the EZFPS asset?

    i cant find a mail link for support only a Linkedein profile

    i need help with the following issues

    1.what are the main possible reasons for EZFPS to crash after about 1-2 minutes of play on ANDROID ?
    (tested on 2 devices running mashmellow and 1 device running kitkat)
    crash symptom(app exit and terminated in background )

    2. You have a lot of demonstration videos and tutorials BUT WHERE ARE EXAMPLES FOR MOBILE??

    3. Does EZFPS work on mobile out of the box ? if not what are the main changes needed to make it work on mobile??

    4. Do you have a link to a game using your asset on mobile?

    5. Are there any know issues with working with EZFPS on UNITY5?

    there are additional problems with the controls which almost makes it unplayable but the most critical right now is the app crashing on mobile
    it seems to perform better in the editor/desktop build but in my current situation its unworkable on mobile
    please help

    This kit is waste of time, i talk with much programmers to fix all bugs and add more cool stuff and nobody want to work on this kit , the programmers prefer to make a project from scratch , developer of this kit not bother to write here and i think for thats why is a cheap game and use for nothing , no webgl and no android, mush bugs and error , the code is not clean , the developer of this kit not listen what need to do, im very sad , this kit will be nice if will fix bugs but this is life.

    Man I dont understand you people. You expect that the programmer deliver a 100% complete game? compatible on all devices? WTF? It is a asset for a nice price. Take it as what it is. Even as a learning asset its great. WebGL Android? Why everybody demanding that? Playing in Webgl is stupid. Laggy and most desktops are too weak to run it fluid. And that android compatible? Why everybody think they must deliver for mobiles? Mobiles is the future, yes. But do you really expect to release a game which 1.000.000 of people will play? With a asset 100 purchases? Wake up! Please. That reminds me strongly about UNITZ. Ya Asset Flipper!

    with photon integrated where you think you can use this kit ? i tell you where if the webgl and android not work - you can use only to play alone on your computer because if you publish on Steam will not get much money to pay Photon , so this game is nice only at first look , and for the price yes is cheap but for me i pay $100 for a game like this with working webgl and android because from this platform will gain money to pay photon and work

    (WHY DO I GET CRASH ON MOBILE , DOES IT WORK ON MOBILE , IS IT UNITY 5 COMPATIBLE)

    BECAUSE SOMETHING IS CHEAP IT MEANS YOU DON'T GET SUPPORT??

    SO IF UNITY OR BLENDER IS FREE THEN YOU SHOULD NOT GET THE CHANCE TO MAKE USELESS RESPONSE THAT WONT HELP ANYONE??

    if you was constructive with your response then i would agree to less support for some free/cheap stuff but that's not always the case and it does not necessarily mean 0 support (UNITY IS FREE ALSO CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    so Divison4 don't create more DIVISION!! create UNITY like UNITY

    be understanding to realise if you see negative messages from others it might be because the are getting frustrated of not getting support from developer as promised in small prints.

    IN MY OPINION THE DEVELOPER IS BUSY AND AM UNDERSTANDING ENOUGH TO WAIT FOR A CONSTRUCTIVE REPLY.

    please like i said make your reply constructive if its not then don't waste others peoples time

    i buy more project from unity assets store but when i need help the developer answer me fast , i wish to be the same here for this wonderful kit , i want to make a great game from this kit but im unable to do because im not programmer to fix some bugs, i hope very soon the developer of this game to help people here.

    (CHEAP) OTHER DEFINITIONS

    (INEXPENSIVE) because some people want to help others their aim is not just profit so they make their products inexpensive.. (OPEN SOURCE)

    (INEXPENSIVE / FREE) this is very common its a game of numbers. some people want their products to reach as much people as possible so they make it (cheap/inexpensive) to maximise users
    example
    YOUR MAIL(GMAIL)
    YOUR SOCIAL SPACE(FB)
    GAME ENGINE (UNITY)
    APPS(PLAY STORE)

    Currently me and my friend are working on a multiplayer fps using photon
    we are not using ezfps at the moment and we are working out other solutions for android
    Even if we can come up with a steady template for android. you would still need to do a lot on your side to have your own full working game as am sure you know having a full working game and not just a (game template)
    will cost you more for time and resource for developer to make

    Are you planning pre game scene where the players can join the room , and Ready, only starts the game when everyone is ready ? :)
    that would be cool, or game modes, like eliminiation, survival(time limited), ctf
