first off, this is my first time attempting to share a game with other people. I tried to use dropbox to give others access to our game but it may not work,

Now enough of that (assuming our game does work) you should be able to see that Extreme Pong is a two player game in which players hit a ball back and forth attempting to make it hit the opponents side,

but things quickly get out of hand.



the game is enriched meteors, giant magnet bombs, mutiballs and more!

the game is currently ONLY two players, but if you are checking it out by yourself you can just control both players.

we started this thread for two reasons:

1. to know what you think of the game

2. we are running out of interesting things to happen. if you have any ideas for events or attacks then please share them in the comments!

------1. We may not use your idea (may be too hard, too game-changing, etc.) but it may inspire us to do something else
------2. You will receive no credit (besides our extreme thanks) but if we use your idea, you will be able to check it out when we finish it!


This is a hobby game, me an my friends (we're in eighth grade) are working on, there is a limit to the things we can do, or fix, but feel free to post any glitches you may find.

First weekly update :

I am close to finishing a boomerang attack. Although the due to the massive amounts of school projects I have to do this spring, work has been slow. The links above are a new version, demonstrating the boomerangs, so far.

 

I am sorry (to those of you who care) to say that development on extreme pong is going to stop. I have not recieved any input from the public that would better motivate my progress and i am getting quite bored with it, especially since my entire coding team (one other person) quit. I have always wanted to make a iphone game, I guess that's what i will do next. thanks for those of you who tried it (although none of you had anything to say to me), and have a quishtay day.

by the way, what is the meaning of Quishtay?

 

long story short, it is the sound of an explosion. when i first made it up i thought it was silly. But it had a nice ring to it so i use in expressions, and as and interjection (like as you would say "BOOM, three of a kind, beat that!"). So its the sound explosions will make in my games, and it represents me. My clan in clash of clans is even the Quishtay Crew. haha. your the first one who asked me about it actually. spread it around. Get everyone saying it. It is the best word ever and my lifetime goal is to get it in a dictionary (besides urban dictionary).

it sounds like Quishtay thats it. (i have a mac, not sure if it works on other computers) highlight the word quishtay and click on speech, start speaking. thats what it sounds like. Qui-sh-tay. I liked it at first because it was ridiculous. but you know Ka-Plowie hardly sounds like anything either.

and, any professional dictionary, in any format, it doesn't matter, i mean if McJob and Selfie can get in a dictionary, why not Quishtay?

since you are so interested in my word, how about my game? did you try it, even though i am not going to work on it any more, what did you think?

 

for your information, this kind of game is pretty interesting if you know how to play it.
