    Hi!

I have upgraded Unity from 4.5.3f3 to 4.5.4f1, without issues. However, now when I open my 27mb scene, it takes 4 minutes!!! to open. Meanwhile it shows me only the menu bar and a big white nothing, and windows says its not responding. However when I check system utilization, nothing is peaked. Everything is normal. I have 16 gig mem, GTX 580SLI, i7 - 2500k. There was no issue at all with 4.5.3f3 something obviously went wrong.

And also, when I hit "play", it takes another 4 minutes!! to start it. It wasnt the case before.

Please provide a fix as soon as possible.

    Thanks!
    Breaker

There is a patch version for 4.5.4 link which might help but raise a bug report with Unity if it doesn't.

Thanks for the help, but unfortunately it did not fix the problem. I did raise a bug already. I'll try to fall back to an earlier version.

Sorry I stated 4.5.3f3.. I was using 4.5.1f3 in reality.
Something happened to the render engine I beleive.

(5.0.0beta5 has the same problem by the way... It is even worse it freezez for 8 minutes)

After falling back to 4.5.1f3, the probem disappeared, the project almost opens instantly.
