extract materials and replace automatically

    Hi, is it possible to automatically extract and replace all materials from an imported model?
    I have a very large file with a lot of different materials. I know I can extract them but then I'll have to manually replace them on each object. Is there a possibility to just make all the materials editable without extracting them?

    If it is an FBX file you can select the Materials tab in the Inspector and drag replacement materials into the slots.
