External Baking Solutions?

    I'm curious if anyone has figured a way to use external baking solutions for their lighting. That could be directly from within unity which is more ideal but if not baking outside of unity all together and moving the results back into unity.

    Enlighten, to put things kindly, is producing less then acceptable results in both quality and usability with a vast number of basic controls hidden away which we are unable to access. We cant even change the number of bounces. We cant get anywhere near the quality we achieved in beast.

    There is also far more general issues with bakes taking far far longer then they should, random black splodges that appear in one bake but not the next... random colorization of shadows for no apparent reason. Packing quality and many other issues that others are picking up here.

    We are really trying to figure out a plan B...
    How easy is it to bake in modo and bring in the results..
    Can we bake using Unity 4.6 and again bring those results back in?

    Has anyone figured out any good solutions to avoid Enlighten in its current state?
