Question Exporting Android APK on Unity 2020.3 under Linux?

I managed to create and build the Karting tutorial last night, and I'm trying to get it on my phone.

However it says I need to put my Linux powered Chrome OS Desktop into developer mode to do this? But I've been advised it may break my PC! How safe is it?

Helpful responses please, I am in a bad mood so all trolling will be reported.

 

So if I understand the situation right, you have the APK file on your computer, but Unity won't let you install it on your phone unless you switch on your computer's developer mode.

You could try transferring the file a different way, such as with a connecting wire, or bluetooth, email attachment or cloud service.

Once the APK file is on your phone, open it up and you should get an option to install it.
