    Hi,

I have exported an animated object from Cheetah3D
as FBX format, but Unity treats it as just a model with no animation.

Can anyone tell me how to it?

    Thanks,
    Stuart

    Hi,
2.6.1 exports the animation. Just make sure that the "export animation" check box in the .fbx preferences (preferences window) in ON.

It is also important to know that only the position, scale and rotation animations can be exported. Parameter animation of materials, modifiers, etc. can't be exported to FBX.
