    Hi,

I am new with unity and 3ds max. I created a rat and a walking motion. I have followed the unity information to import animations. I have tried it with FBX and a normal max file.

When I look under animation it doesn't show anything. I know I am supposed to tell it the frames that contain the different animations, but is there a way to tell that there is any animation what so ever? It seems no matter which way I import it to unity or export from 3ds max the walking animation is not present.

How do I fix this, thanks very much.

Suspect you are using FBX 2011 exporter, select 2010 in the FBX options panel when it pops up and all should be OK.

remember that you have to setup the animations inside unity as well. basicly the name, the type and start/end frame.
