I have an experiment I'd like to conduct, in which I record some runtime animations with audio. Say I record an interview with in VR - so I'd be recording the hand and head transform data, plus their audio. That part is easy enough with the Unity Recorder.

Here's the challenge I don't know how to overcome: I'll want to edit the recordings - just as easily as I can edit footage from a documentary shoot.

Can someone think of a way that I might be able to do my editing in a separate application, like Premiere (which can export XML files with the timecodes of the audio). And then, in Unity, now replicate the edit so that the animations which are synced with the audio?
