    Hi,

I'm studying the usage of different game platforms and It would be a great help that if ex-Adobe AIR/Flash game developers (I hope there are some :) ) could answer this simple question.

It would be awesome if you can leave a comment the biggest advantages and disadvantages of your choice.

    Thanks!

I suggest look into popularity, available options, made games/apps, community, documentation.
For example, if you want to go with some obscure platform, with low community and available resources, working with will be nightmare.

You're going to get pretty skewed responses here. Hope you're also asking elsewhere, at the very least. I suspect this will tell you what forums get more traffic more so than anything else...

Also, what about people who plan to use multiple tools, or use stuff on an as-needed basis? They're all just tools, use whatever suits...

I mean if you use AS3 in Adobe Air then the language change is a bit of a jump - especially now no .js/unityscript in Unity.
But Unity & C# (as you will get told here!) makes a good change.
Otherwise I think you will go to a more complicated language (C++) or a simpler, less able one (LUA)
