As we already know Unity has acquired Applifier in order to integrate Everyplay and GameAds services into Unity. Currently this is iOS and Android only. Wouldn't be great to support Microsoft platforms Windows Phone and Windows Store?

In my opinion, Microsoft today has the best programs to incentive mobile indie developers for free. On the other hand, if you are a unknown developer/small studio, Google and Apple do not give a dime for you. Take a look on these programs:

Look, I'm not saying to leave iOS and Android development. It's mandatory to release your game for these platforms if you want to succeed. Feel free to share incentive programs from other companies if you know. Just clarifying, Microsoft can give you a great boost as a starting point. Promoting your WP/Winstore apps can even maximize your iOS/Android versions visibility.

I highly recommend our community to embrace this Everyplay/Game Ads for Microsoft platforms idea. Unity and Microsoft have been working very closely lately. Maybe if we show off our interest on this, things may happen faster...

If you believe this matters, spend some votes right here:

    Let's spread the word!

    (edit)
If you are developing for Microsoft platforms and don't know what's Everyplay/Game Ads about, let me briefly introduce these services.

    Everyplay
Just by using it's prefab, your players are able to record and share their gameplay video (eg posting to youtube). It's a fantastic way to viralize your game for free.

    Game Ads
Rewarding players while they watch video ads is a very modern way to monetize a game. Companies like AdColony, Vungle or Flurry do this service for iOS and Android. Unity Game Ads does the same.

I would suspect this development is probably under way already. Usually with a new acquisition there is some technical debt that has to be resolved initially and then you can begin new development. I do not know the details of this, but Unity is very committed to the multi-platform story and I am of the opinion that Unity will definitely support windows with this platform. The time line of that support however I am not privy to.

I would love to see this as soon as possible (it's the only thing really keeping me off the Windows market since I don't want to have two different ad companies at once). Gave you 5 votes there.

I gave the votes but I have very little hope on this. I wrote everyplay support asking about a year ago and they said they would work on it. And my feeling is that Everyplay seems dead. During this year very few updates, nothing new on windows/windows phone and almost no activity on their end in general.

I would be very happy if they give Everyplay a push, but 1 year and near zero activity doesn't seem like a good start.

Added votes. No video ads platform is available for windows store. Will unity snatch the opportunity? Or will they let another competitor take it from them?

I've been using video ads on windows store for months... the problem is not the availability the problem is that we have to implement a whole system per platform which is a pain in the butt. That' why having Unity do it would be nice.

    +10 votes for this!

Someone is using Full Screen Interstitial Ads on Windows Phone/Store? What did you recommend until this is released?

I am using admob for banner and full screen interstitial, but someone just recommended pubcenter because apparently the CPM is much higher.

Have you guys checked the fillrate of MS vidro ads? No? I can tell you: 0.04% (that's right). And CPM below $1 Waste of time...

So the only REAL alterniteve is Vungle which already works on Windows. Unity ads would be nice too.
