    Hi,

Amazon validation team send me this issue :

Observation:- Bad UI : Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install and launch the app. 2.Play and complete the game. 3. Tap on "Share " 4. Enter the credentials for facebook. 5. Post anything and try to play the video which is shared. Actual Result: "Video plays in bad graphics". Expected Result:Video should not display bad graphics, video should be properly.

Any idea to fix this ?

    Thanks !

    Best regards,

    AB

    Hi @ababab5

That's a great report from Amazon!
Unfortunately, we are not officially support Kindle devices or Amazon as a platform.
So, there is no fix for this really. From your end, you should not consider Everyplay for Amazon/Kindle devices.

    Cheers

    Thanks for your answer !

Amazon are awesome for our feedbacks. And this with just 2 hours ...

But the method EveryplayIsReady (or something like that) should handle this , no ?

We are not checking or blacklisting Kindle or other another devices which support Amazon.
We are aware that some Kindle devices can run Everyplay, however, officially we are not supporting Amazon at the moment. So we don't do any checks.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help.

Do you plan to support Amazon a day ?

It's pretty huge in the US, and the revenue is near (and sometimes better) than iOS ...

And is there an issue to detect this in code ?

    Thanks !

The methods Build.Model() returns name of the product eg: "KindleFire"
Build.Manufacturer() returns manufacturer of the device eg: "Amazon"
This should help you to identify whether the device is an Amazon device or not, in which case, you should not enable Everyplay.

NOTE: The strings could be different case. So maybe, you should consider to lowercase before comparing. - android.os.Build.Model.toLowerCase()

Actually, some apps come with every play and you can film and post that game only. Unless you download another game with every play.
    I hope that helped you.

Those are the apps where the developer forgot to disable Everyplay for Amazon platform. We don't officially support Kindle/Amazon.
