Eventsystem.update garbage generation

    Hello
    I've been searching for answers on how to fix this issue but have not found anything that works.
    I have a menu that opens when clicking a turret (td game). Currently I am using buttons with transitioneffects for when the mousepointer is over a button in the menu.
    What I have noticed is that when doing the mouseover there is an immense amount of garbage generated. Anyone else seen this and how can this be resolved? What may I have missed?

    I have tested the profiler in the editor and when running the game, and even though it is slightly less severe in the latter case, the problem is still there.

    Using 5.3.0f4

    It is definitely there and creating tons of garbage in my mobile game too. Even when I click on buttons in editor and probably in mobile too. I wonder if it was always there though. Have you found any solution to this question?
