    Hello.

I can't install Unity 2022.3.2f1. Eset finds suspicious object and deletes them.

    Trash your virus scanner.

Virus scanners only report "suspicious" whatever so they can give users the impression that they have an actual use and are actively helping when in fact they only contribute to slowing the system down and alerting users to nonsense, in particular these kind of "suspicious" alerts are terribly unhelpful because it puts the burden of making that decision on the user. And how are you going to judge this? That's basically, statistically speaking, a random choice dialog box. Some click ALLOW others click STOP, who is to say that this is in fact a good choice and how are random users going to make that decision?

At least you asked here, gives me another chance ranting over virus scanners. And I'm not alone, most security experts will tell you that a private user doesn't need antivirus, and companies for the most part only need Internet filters. ;)

The only real issue here is the virus scanner. Don't install one. Windows 10/11 built-in security is strong enough. Scanners themselves often introduce security flaws on their own.

I had the same problem too. Disable Real-time protection and install it. After installation enable it.

Nod scans normally and often helped out by searching for backdoors on websites. It is strange that such problems exist with unity.
