Escape to the Nile is a short, relaxing exploration game. It's my first exercise in using Unity and also my first game.

From conception through to completion, the game took about four-five weeks to produce.

My favourite part of the game development was and is, definitely the level design.

Made as student of Game Dev Unlocked.

    Dear Captain_James, just a 2 cents.

This looks great. I am making an Ancient Egyptian game too (is a FPS (set in 1897, there are about 25 levels, 75 monsters and 50 weapons; called NEFER'U'MAAT; working on it for 3 years)) and just saw yours. The rough/polygon art style/crunchy look is cool. There is a nice glow there on the crystals/treasure. The rocky cliffs with the boardwalk/passage bridge hanging above are great. It's nice because there are quite a few platforms and thus you can explore around the great decorum (in my game, it is hectic/action-shooting but there is exploration too; plus, megamount of ancient egyptian relics/ artefacts). Thanks for reading.
    Just a 2 cents.

Wishing good luck on your game.

Thank you for you comments. Much appreciated.
I really like the low polygon look and it's something that my next project will have too.

NEFER'U'MAAT looks amazing from the screenshot on your page. Can't wait to see more of it. Your game would definitely be one that I would want to play. After three years it must be a huge project. Do you have anymore images to share?
