Escape room tutorial failing to load onto Quest.

I'm on a mini mac running Hight Sierra using the latest version of Unity and have followed the tutorial very carefully but the "Build and Run" fails every time on my Quest. (Gradle failure error) among others. Any one have an idea what's wrong? Computer incompatibility??????????

Took a look and there seems to be half a dozen different suggestions, all of which seem hit and miss. I'm not a technical person and much of it is all greek to me. Is there a simple way to pinpoint what is the solution in the midst of their suggestions?
